| goldesdottar | 5/22/08 | Your rendition shows that it is well worth the time to get the fit correct, and that with a good fit a close to the body line is both flattering and comfortable-looking. The jacket seems a little fussy; the top & skirt are timeless & sleek. The formality is nicely downplayed by the ikat weave of the cloth. |

| CarolynGM | 5/22/08 | This simple, classic style looks very nice on you. Good pattern choice to show off the lovely fabric too. |

| Karla Kizer | 5/22/08 | Mary Beth, that is so flattering! The simple lines really let the fabric do the talking and (here's a first) it made me actually *like* the idea of hot weather. |

| Georgene | 5/27/08 | Wow MB, you look wonderful, and your ensemble is inspired. I love this sort of fabric. What will you do for a jacket or cardigan? Thanks for the link to your Stitchery post and the Flowgram with its interesting collection of links to Gautemalan fabric info. |

| loti | 6/1/08 | Hello MB,
I think you managed a better fit than I did with this pattern. I love this fabric, it is really lovely, I also happen to have some Guatemalan textiles in my stash, hmmm you've given me a great idea! Thank you |

| MaryBeth | 6/3/08 | loti: I think you could easily go down a size or two in this pattern. I really appreciate your reviews of the garments you submitted to the mini-wardrobe contest: you helped me know what to expect and make adjustments to get the fit the pattern pix displays! Georgene: my first choice for a coverup for this fabric would be a knitted shrug in various blues with nubs of red and orange, or something like that. Also a jeans style jacket in organza would work nicely, too. |
