Thanks for this review! I love the skirt and it helps to see it in other fabrics on real people (not the models aren't real, but they aren't usually representative of most of us). Sounds like based on your experience this skirt is a good one to make in a stretch fabric as long as you don't allow too much ease. I would love to make the version with the stripes to get that herringbone effect. How much shorter than expected was the skirt? I'm slightly tall and have long legs and also live in a conservative area, so this is important info for me.
