I really like how this turned out, even in your nightmare starvation fabric. Kind of bohemian. The cami underneath helps the neckline problem, and you look great!

I really liked this top when I saw it in the magazine, and it looks good on you - maybe you can make it again in better fabric? I'm using a polyester fabric right now for what I thought might be a wearable muslin of a dress, but now I'm not so sure about the "wearable" part! We all get fooled into buying these fabrics now and then...r

Lovely top natasha !! A fabulous result given the fabric you were working with. re the length between shoulder and bust point - I normally shorten this length too - by about 0.5 to 1cm on most Burda and New look patterns.
