Glad the pattern worked so well for you. The lining under the semi-sheer fabric probably deepened the color nicely. Please post a picture of the original fabric.

I hate facings on most knits. This fabric reminds me of knitted cheese cloth...very sheer and won't stay put. I cut the front piece and back piece out of the darker fabric 1" shorter then the printed materail. Joined the shoulders of outside fabric, joined shoulders of lining. Sewed lining to tshirt around the neckline, flipped to wrong side, attached sleeves to both layers, serged all edges and finished side seams. Pattern uses a strip for the back neckline and facing for the front.

So was the original t shirt patterned lined? How did you construct the lining for this. I like the color of the t shirt in the picture, but the Navy one isn't shown. I suppose with a lined shirt the facing isn't necessary.
