I see what you mean about the interfacing and pleats. Maybe a sheer tricot or weft insertion interface would give it a nicer drape while adding a bit of body? Still the overall effect is a good one and I hope you go back and make something you love out of this.

Wow, i am very surprised that they require interfacing on this collar! Weird. I just got this pattern though and I think it looks good on you, so I am excited about trying it!

I have made this pattern twice and agree with you about the interfacing: it is not needed. I used a mid-weight thermal knit for one top and a stretch jersey for the other; both turned out well. I much preferred the cowl without interfacing. I also did the balloon 3/4 sleeves on one; those turned out well. As to the pleats, they will look great on my thin young niece and youngish sister.
