Beautiful fabric and well done. I'm like you, I don't feel comfortable with formal window treatments. More informal ones make the whole room more relaxed.

These look great. My favorite thing in window coverings. Curtains, rod, valance...that's it. Great work, and I love that fabric. It is quite like the JC Penny curtains I wanted and then they were out. Worth thinking about making. Thanks for showing these pictures!
