These pillows are beautiful. What great colors and texture. I have never heard of this technique before. I may even attempt patchwork again just to try it. The afghan in the background is beautiful, also.

Hope your brother appreciated this wonderful gift. You did a great job of documenting the process. This is a nice project to sew with children, while at the same time, getting customized accent pillows for the home. The piping adds a lot. I have added a zipper to the back of throw pillows, in the past, so the pillow covers could be laundered.
