What a beautiful blouse! We'd love to see a pic of your finished product. Sounds like this is perfect for beginners to knit too! You've inspired me to work with knits.

Very pretty top. I'm sitting here in the same snow storm. It's been great for getting a lot done in the sewing room. I think Virginia has had quite enough snow for one season. When you said you "extend the back shoulder seam", do you mean lengthen it at the top(for more height) or at the shoulder/neck area? I'm going to get this pattern at the upcoming $1.00 Simplicity sale at Joann's next week.

Dear JTink - I lengthened it at the shoulder seam where the back shoulder is sewn to the front shoulder. This seems to give a little more ease through the back and makes it fit better. The snow storm has been great for sewing. I always seem to want to make summer clothes while it is snowing outside. Hee!
