Fabulous fit! I'm encouraged seeing this well fitted pants on you after seeing the blouse you also posted today as well as reading your blog. Both garments look like what I need right now and could very well be the garments I sew to take me out of my too long sewing paralysis. Can you please share more info: 1) the size you chose and measurements of your waist & hips, so I can understand how to apply this to me and 2) you said you "took each leg in a total of 2" from the inseam" - Does this mean you a) didn't adjust at all the outside seam and b) you took in 1" on each side of the inseam"? Thanking you.

Thanks for the nice words about my pants! Persevering--In answer to your questions: 1) I made these pants in one size down from my hip measurement. 2) I didn't alter the outside seam at all, just the inseam. And yes, I took it in 1" on each side of each inseam, meeting up with the original lower crotch seam at the top. **The one thing to note is that the outside seam has a 1" seam allowance included in this pattern.

I LOVE the fit of these pants on you. They're just PERFECT. I've been eyeing this pattern myself. Of course, I don't have your figure -- ha! -- but it looks like a great pattern that would work on lots of people. You really ROCK these pants!
