Thank you so much for your vest review! I'm actually starting this vest today. I had read the pattern instructions and thought they seemed odd, but I haven't sewn a lined vest before, so what did I know? Your comments about the armholes make perfect sense. I have Simplicity 2874, which I have not made yet, but it has what appear to be good instructions for sewing a lined vest, so I'm going to use the instructions for my guide. My plan is to make a cargo vest for my 7 yr old grandson, with flaps and velcro on the pockets. So wish me luck. Your review is setting me on the right path for assembling the vest. Thanks again!
