Sorry your dress didn't fit according to your measurements. It's one of my frustrations with patterns. You are probably right that in a more stable fabric you may have needed the room. Your end result looks very nice. I love the look of a fitted sleeveless dress. Can you sit down in it? It may seem like a stupid question but I'm looking for this type of dress and have tried some on that look OK while standing but are so fitted that I can't sit.

There is still a lot of "room" in this dress, sitting is not an issue - the term "fitted" in the description should read "somewhat fitted" :)
