The jacket is gorgeous, I hope you get lots of wear out of it when the weather is cooler. This jacket exactly why I want to learn to sew - so many techniques, really a labor of love.

Beautiful jacket !! Thanks for the comments regarding the directions -- I have this pattern (havent made it yet) but may try referencing this directions for some "common" steps in the jacket I am making.

I have started this pattern and after 2 sessions to cut the fabric, I began to wonder if it will be worth my time. I am glad to hear that it has worked out for others and will go back and finsh. Photo to follow!
