LOVE this pattern and love your bag. I've made up a few of these myself and use the bags A LOT ... and they hold up very well.

Yes it is very sturdy. The sides are french seamed, the bottom is double stitched then reinforced with bias binding. The binding around the handles and opening of the bag give it added strength too.

Great looking bag! I like the print on the fabric. Does it feel pretty sturdy having been constructed of one layer of fabric?
