| Elona Masson | 5/8/04 | This is gorgeous. It looks like something a Renaissance queen would have worn! |

| ReneeO | 5/8/04 | Beautiful job! I would love to see the front if you get a chance. :) |

| SewTabby | 5/8/04 | I agree with Elona--it does look very period-y. Really beautiful! I'd love to see a picture of the front... |

| Georgene | 5/8/04 | Wow Iris, that is a spectacular rendition of that pattern! I had looked at it several times, but never thought of attempting it. The idea of making it a dressing gown is very good. If only I had the chaise longue to go with it! |

| ClaireC | 5/9/04 | Gorgeous coat! I have had this pattern for while. I hope to make an evening coat sometime later this year, but before the formal Holiday Parties begin. I will probably interline mine as it gets darn cold in CT in the winter.
I love, love, love this pattern. You did a beautiful job. Thank you for sharing the review and the picture |

| Jan B. | 5/10/04 | Wow--terrific!! If you've got misaligned front hooks, it certainly doesn't show. I'm sure you look outstanding in it with your coloring and eyes. |

| Iris Colo | 5/14/04 | The "misalignment" is probably no more than 1/16" of an inch and only in one little section. I tend to be very critical of my sewing. Thank you all very much for you glowing comments and praise. My next venture will probably be the spectacular red late-victorian dress in my photo album. |

| ChubbyBaby | 8/10/04 | Hi, I was going to ask to see you in the dress, but I just saw your comment above. Thank you very much for the pictures. They're beautiful! :) |

| RUSewCrazy | 9/19/04 | What a terrific review of this pattern. I've had my eyes on it, but am afraid to attempt. Your version is gorgeous. I'm dying to know though - where in the world did you wear it? I have NO occasion this would be suited for, LOL! :) |

| DJM | 9/11/06 | Beautiful job on this creation. I love this pattern as well, but have not yet made it. I looked at your photo album; you have some very dramatic and creative clothes. I love to look at something other than blue jeans and a t-shirt, as practical as that outfit must be.
Thank you for inspiration. |

| Fabienne301 | 7/9/08 | Spectacular. I wish you could make something like this in a heavier fabric so you can actually keep warm in it, but the pattern back says,"dupioni, brocade, etc." so I believe that if I want to make this, I should (if I value my sanity) do as they say.
It is just gorgeous. |

| Sara The Slayer | 9/26/09 | I'm dying to make this now! How was sizing? Does it fit big - they sell it as 6-8-10 or 12-14-16, I usually am between 10 and 12, 10 on top and 12 below. But things end up big, I'm thinking buy the smaller one??? I can't figure out how to write you a message! |
