Pattern Description:
Halter dress, top & skirt
Pattern Sizing:
Six sizes in one - I used size 12
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes it did, although i left off the waist tie but more of that below.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I made this top a few years ago when I was still a beginner but from what I remember it was easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This is such a flattering cut. Great for ladies with bigger boobs.
Fabric Used:
I used a white polka dot on a light brown/taupe background. It looks great in summer with a little white skirt or white pants.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did not insert the zipper on the side. After fitting I realised I could quite easily get this over my head without any problems so I left the problematic zipper off. If I were to make this again, I would insert the zipper as they dont scare me like they used to when I was a beginner

I would also make the halter ties a tad bit longer just because I found them a little on the short side for me. personal preference thats all.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes I would sew this again. I have been wanting to but someone borrowed this pattern from me years ago & I never got it back. I finally tracked down a replacement copy so Im looking forward to making the dress soon. Moral of the story : NEVER lend your patterns out!
I would most definitely recommend this to anyone to sew. Its young, fun & flattering. You could have some fun with the panels in different fabrics too....
