<> Something that helps with buttonholes on stretchy knits is to back them with tear-away backing (or even typing paper) but ALSO top them with a square of Solvy that's bigger than the buttonhole. You can see your buttonhole markings through the Solvy, and it prevents that "fishmouth" stretch-out at the ends of the buttonhole.

Well, I'll have to get this pattern and make it up. I really like living in knits and so often, even in the summertime here, the air conditioning makes some kind of sweater necessary. This really looks so neat and well-put-together. Thanks for the review!
