I'm also tempted to try a new pants pattern. Reading your review reminded me how much work it is to get that new pattern to fit. It's disappointing to put so much work into something and then have it not meet your expectations. It seems like you know what you like and maybe you can carry some of the better features over to your Vogue TNT pattern.

Thanks for a very thorough review! I'd say you've achieved a very nice fit with these pants, and maybe the tapered leg will grow on you. :o) I hope so, as they're too nice not to wear!

These look very nice but if you don't like them, they just won't be worn. Oh, I hear you about the siren call of a new pattern. Thanks for your excellent, detailed review ... I'm similar enough in shape that I think it's not for me. Whew!
