Pretty top! I like the two fabrics together. Pity they are a bit crisp for the style. :(

I love the way the two prints look together. You really tried a lot of ways to make this top work - and I think it's okay. Maybe after repeated washes/dryings, it will soften up and you'll like it better. I also sometimes wear a long and weighty necklace with a less drapy top, to help it lay nearer the body.

I have a similar problem with a shirt I made. I'd like to beat the fabric on a rock for a few days to see if it would soften up a bit. I'm the one who commented on the Spanish/English directions. It did provide some entertainment. I don't know what happened with your fit but you seem to have worked it out. It doesn't look too big.

I liked your top! I think as a beginner I will hold off on this pattern. I don't need any more wadders. I have had several good projects and want to keep that up!
