I'd say it was a good call to dispense with the welt pockets. The neutral color and easy style should serve you well as a wardrobe staple. Excellent job!

High quality wool suiting can be silky and smooth and not at all scratchy and if thin not all that warm. This is a lovely style on you and of course, beuatully made.
