Loved your review. I, too, am a grandmother who has made this pattern for a granddaughter. Understand completely about an iron never touching it again! I found, though, that the waistband of the shorts seemed to be wider than the waistband of the skirt part, and I had to work to get them the same.

I am making skorts for my DGD also. Little girls want to wear skirts & dresses now, and I agree skorts are the way to go to protect their modesty. Your outfit is darling, and I am sure DGD will love it.
