OH! GIVE IT A TRY... maybe do what I did and find some discount fabric (sheets, curtains, etc...) I'm 4'11 and I didn't shorten it one bit, and it's still great! As far as being high waisted, this may naturally solve the problems others have had with the gaping in the sleeve/underarm. They look so much better on. I couldn't stop saying how cute these dresses were to my hubby (who, of course, was in agreement). ;)

I love both of your dresses. I've had this pattern for years, but have been a bit scared off because I'm short/high waisted and 5'2. Yours is so cute.
