Cool! I love the frayed edges! I've had my eye on this pattern for a long time. I love medieval dresses, and I love that these ones are long and sleek. Frayed linen, hey? Great idea!

Beautiful! I have used this overdress pattern with the exact same Butterick dress. Edit: Oh, I see your comments on mine. :D Glad that review proved helpful! I like your peasant version. Lining just the upper portion as the instructions state is not great. I'd recommend lining the entire thing, or doing as you did, and leaving it rough for a peasant look. Love all of your versions, great colors!

Very nice! I especially like the way you've done the edges, with the tight line of stitching and fraying beyond that point. Just today I was thinking about making a particular jacket out of linen and wondering how it would look to try this same method. Now I know! Thanks for the great review. :o)
