Thanks for your review ... when you do the edge stitching at the fold at the top of the waistband, Did you also stitch through the elastic or only the fabric? (Or did you only edgestitch through the fabric itself and you are thinking of stitching through for the future?)

This is the perfect style of pants for a nice, drapey linen and ideal for a summer day. They fit you well and don't scream ELASTIC! Those long-legged models, UGH!

Persevering, my apologies that wasn't clear at all! I corrected it in the review, but the basic idea is to edge stitch the top of the casing BEFORE putting in the elastic. The end result is much nicer.

Even with your normal length legs these look fantastic! I've been eyeing this pattern myself so it's great to see your review and photos. I think silk ones would be gorgeous too, perfect dress up/dress down pants!
