Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes - I made view B
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes very.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The top really gapes and for me needs alterations if it is to be worn without a singlet, but I don't mind wearing a singlet so it is fine.
Fabric Used: I made one with a cotton/polyester blend and then one with cotton lawn (which I love!).
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:It is generously sized so the first is quite big and even the second is a little big.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? It is a great wardrobe builder and is pretty quick to make.
Conclusion: I have made 2 so that is enough for this summer, but I would consider making another in the future.

Mazzygirl said... this is a great dress pattern, & I have made several myself. the key to success with this pattern is to choose the right size based on the finished pattern measurements, as New Look traditionally have way too much ease, this pattern being no exception. Consider also if a full/small bust adjustment is required to deal with the gaping issue..... (a quick tissue fit should answer that question) both your dresses look lovely & I would steal them from you in a flash! Lovely fabric choices too. 1/4/13 7:59 PM
