Nice little dress, and the patterned version too. You can't see the gaping in the photos, but if you do another maybe you could try easing the wrap line into a length of seam tape to pull out some of the fullness there.

this is a great dress pattern, & I have made several myself. the key to success with this pattern is to choose the right size based on the finished pattern measurements, as New Look traditionally have way too much ease, this pattern being no exception. Consider also if a full/small bust adjustment is required to deal with the gaping issue..... (a quick tissue fit should answer that question) both your dresses look lovely & I would steal them from you in a flash! Lovely fabric choices too.
