Thank you JEF! I just switched the picture to my flickr account instead of Picasa. I'm new to posting reviews and still puzzling out all the computer stuff. I think I'm liking flickr better.

Hi Brine, for a picot edge on my Janome serger the set up is almost the same as the rolled hem with three threads, except the stitch length is between 3 and 4 instead of set on R. It made a neat effect where the plaid rolled over to the pink side just a tiny bit showing through the wider spaced white thread stitches.

This sounds like a great idea! What is the picot edge setting on your serger?

A www...I could not get to a bigger picture. But, it looks very cute in the little picture!

I've been planning 2 sided napkins but was going to sew them right sides to, flip, and topstitch. Your way sounds so much easier and faster! Thanks.
