Wow, what a spectacular creation! It's impressive in every way -- the fabric is so perfect for the style, the style is so perfect for you, and you tamed that slippery fabric beast beautifully!

Goodness, thank-you everyone for the kind comments! SavageCoco, I trace patterns with one of those serrated tracing wheels. Put the pattern on top of paper on a softish surface (carpet is good) and just run over the lines with the wheel.

Whoa, fabulous, fabulous!!!! What more can be said?

Oh, you are so Lady Penelope in that dress. Have Parker to wash the Rolls for wedding transit. How did you trace the pattern? Any pics of that?

Wow!, This seems to be the general opinion, and justifiably so.

Catherine, you call yourself an "advanced beginner", but all your smart decisions about the length and weight of the fabric lengthening the bodice should put you in the "intermediate" category, I think! The layout of the back of your dress is particularly stunning.

Your dress is really stunning. The print is fabulous. I made this last year and also omitted the zip, no need for it really. You look great in it!
