Great project to get your skills going. I've learned never to underestimate Kwik Sew patterns - the instructions are great and the styles are often more interesting in real life than they are on the pattern envelope. Actually, I have a theory as to why the pattern envelopes are so lovely. Instead of being disappointed because your garment doesn't look like the envelope, you're almost always pleased that it looks BETTER! That may be part of the Kwik sew magic. LOL
