Your dress looks beautiful. I just love your fabric. How odd about the lining bodice length; looks like your fix worked very well though. I really like the tie in the back. You're right about that meaning no cardigan though ( I would struggle with that decision myself, because I almost always wear a cardigan with a dress). Nice work.
