How pretty! Very nice to see this pattern made up in a different type of fabric from the pic.

Great jacket! I'm curious, how do you finish off the corners on the serger so they look neat?

To answer peaudane's question about corners. First I serged the edge in one direction and left the threads hanging off the end. Then I did the edge that crossed with that. The loose edges from the first stitching get sliced off and I don't seem to have to do anything more there. This time I gently disentangled the chain from the end of the new stitching and just tied it in a knot, and obviously snipped all the threads off. I think this has worked well. It does look neat even close up. Last time I put fray stopper also on the ends, and will do that again if I see signs of unravelling.

Lovely jacket! Thanks for the reminder about this pattern as I put it on my 'To Do' list when the magazine came out but never got to it.

Thanks for the review and especially as yours is not a knit. I have some fabric similar to yours and will try it with this one now.
