Great pockets and fit! I had the same experience with my first Craftsy copies... they look exactly like my RTW, but the denim is tragic, and I can only wear them once before they're bagged out and ridiculous. I used some denim from Denver Fabrics that seemed fine when I started, but kept getting softer and softer as I worked. I think I'll make a t-shirt out of the remainder!

Very, very nice jeans. Buying the denim is I find the hardest part.

Awesome! For the buttonhole - it looks like there's a full seam allowance inside the waistband. Try grading it and the interfacing/stabilizer. You could also add an additional thickness inside above the button hole. The closer to level, the better the result, especially with the add-on buttonholer because it distributes the presser bar weight a bit different than the little feet that go directly on the machine. a note to Laura and/or others re denim. Fabrics can vary tremendously - if you can, get a small piece and wash and dry it the way you'll be doing when finished. The best denim RTW stretch jeans I've had were about 20% polyester. Initially I had thought they might be hot and sweaty but they weren't. I think the polyester helped stabilize the fabric. They wore like normal denim colour-wise etc. There's about 40 bolts of denim at the only fabric store where I live. There are only about 3 of them I would even consider taking time to sew up.
