Pattern Description: From the package, "This is a t-shirt pattern unlike any you have ever tried before..."
Pattern Sizing: XSmall to XLarge. I made the Small.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy instructions...there are many tips included to accommodate different fit issues for different sized women.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I was able to find a great fit using the various options.
Fabric Used: I've made a few t-shirts from this pattern...most using the 11 oz. rayon/lycra jersey from EOS. I used a bamboo blend for the one striped version. Good quality knit fabric is recommended.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made no changes other than those options included in the pattern instructions. I used the short armhole option, the crew neck, and the straighter side seams, even though I have curves in that area. I found the curved option to be too curvy for me. My preference is a looser fit in that area.
I did find the neckband to be wider than I prefer so I trimmed that pattern piece by about a 1/2 inch, so that is actually the only other change I did.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will and have sewn it again...I've made 9 so far. I do recommend the pattern and have seen many members have tried it already.
Conclusion: This pattern has become my fave t-shirt pattern and I plan to continue using it. I usually buy enough fabric to make a long-sleeved version and a short- or 3/4-sleeved version. I made a silk jersey version for a friend who lives in another state. Just by using the measurements she sent me the shirt came out great. She thinks it's the best-fitting t-shirt she has.
