Pattern Sizing:
6-10,12-16,18-22
I cut a size 10 but graded out at the hip
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
They are easy to follow What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The pattern is a nice chanel style with a close fitting sleeve.
Fabric Used:
Black wool boucle with mauve flecks, mauve lining
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made a fringe trim as described by Claire Schaeffer in Sew Today (September/October edition), so had to alter the finishing of the sleeves and hem.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
This is my third version, and may make it again in the future. I would recommend it to anyone, but if you have larger upper arms the fit will need to be altered.
Conclusion:
Just the winter jacket I wanted. See My blog for more details.
