Pattern Description: Close fitting pullover top has neck and sleeve variations, side slits and topstitched hems. A: round neck, short sleeves. B: round neck, below elbow sleeves. C: V-neck, sleeveless. D: V-neck, long sleeves. E: mock-wrap neck, below elbow sleeves.
I made version E (mock-wrap) with long sleeves
Pattern Sizing: 14-22, I made a 16
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, very easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It's a basic top, and I liked the mock wrap version because I could use some heavy fuzzy-on-the-inside fabric to make it extra warm.
I've made the V neck versions as well and this version was even easier to sew since the neck band could be sewn on in one long strip.The neckline is also nice and high yet not choking in any way.
Fabric Used: A high-performance recycled Polyester knit from fabric.com
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did not do the side slits and I didn't even hem the bottom; I just serged all the way around and left it long.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes and yes!
Conclusion: A great basic top and using a heavier more stable knit was a breeze to sew up.
