Pattern Description: Sleeveless nightgown with yoke and front placket.

Pattern Sizing:Misses XS,S,M,L in one envelope.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes. The only fiddly thing is the placket.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It's a very nice looking, feminine, comfortable nightgown. The placket does unbutton.

Fabric Used:cheap cotton blend from stash. If I'd used a better fabric, the placket probably would have been easier to make.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I made a shorter version of view A. Shortened the ruffle because I didn't have enough of this fabric. The pattern calls for 2.5 yards (2.30m) of narrow lace for view A, 4.5 yards (4.15m) for view B. Had a hard time finding lace that wasn't scratchy, so I used piping for trim at the edge of the yoke, instead of lace. Also used store-bought bias binding around the neckline and armholes.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes to both.

Conclusion: My favorite nightgown pattern.

Nice gown ! I like the variation of using the piping. I used this pattern for my adult daughter as she had an pricey one that looked identical to me that fell apart she loved it so much. She is wanting me to make another. I liked that you described the placket as fiddly. I definitely found the placket bottom to be the same. I think the next time I will fuse some tricot interfacing there to see if that will help a bit. Like you I think I will use a better fabric the next time but mine was a test sew that worked out.
