Pattern Description: Misses tops have stnading collar and front variations.
Pattern Sizing: 8 - 22 I made a size 12
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Somewhat with a few changes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very, I really didn't need them.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? How easy it is to put together...makes it really easy when you want to be creative and do your own thing!
Fabric Used: A black stretch lace from my stash, I believe I purchased it from Mood fabrics a while back.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made quite a few changes...one of them was using a pattern piece from Vogue 8815 for the peplum. To read about all my changes, please stop by my Blog.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will not make this one again because it's so different one is enough (unless I ruin it and need another!) I would definitely recommend to others if they like the style. It was really easy to create using the two patterns.
Conclusion: This is a great top and very "festive"...it drew a lot of compliments and looks when I wore it to our office holiday party!

Earth to 1SewSweet, you'd draw a lot of compliements if you were wearing a GUNNY SACK! :o)) HOWEVER, this is a DARLING top and just PERFECT for the holidays. :o) (Speaking of gunny sacks reminds me of that I Love Lucy episode where she and Ethyl dressed up in their burlap bags, thinking it was the latest fashion. And they DID look pretty good, even by Project Runway standards.) :o) 12/10/12 2:28 PM
