Pattern Description: Really cute drape neck top with built in cami.
Pattern Sizing: Pattern is multisized but you have to order your size. I ordered size 8 based on my measurements and its spot on! Love that about StyleArc.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, I love it. Although I wasn't so smart about the fabric choice. More on that later.
Were the instructions easy to follow? StyleArc patterns come with minimal instructions, but I knew this already. Instead I read all the reviews right here and followed the steps from LynnRowe's Review.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Nothing to dislike. This is a very well drafted pattern and is quick to make! I will be making many more of these.
Fabric Used: I used Rayon Lycra Jersey for this top, both inside and outside. It is important that you choose a fluid fabric for this top otherwise the drape won't look right. Also pick a fabric which is same on both sides. I didn't but before I could realize that, it was too late so I decided to go ahead with it. After washing the top it was even worse
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I raised the neckline of the inner camisole by 2 inches! I also shortened the top about 1.5 inches.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will most certainly sew this again but in a different fabric.
Conclusion: A quick and easy stylish top that you can make over and over again and play with different fabrics. Whats not to love?

Erin Sooit said... Hi! I really like your top! I love your fabric choice (it's a fun print) even though it had a small drawback. I would guess if you had tried to add a facing or extend the edge that gets turned under it would be too much bulk and it wouldn't drape as well. Still it is a great look on you. :) 12/12/12 4:45 PM

RLL said... I agree with Nan Kay that you notice the wrong side of the fabric by looking down way more than anyone else would notice it. The fabric itself is gorgeous and the top looks great on you. 12/12/12 7:04 PM

Really, had you not pointed it out it was not obvious. But thanks for giving the rest of us the heads-up. :) This pattern is on the way to me from Australia... 12/13/12 1:26 AM
