Pattern Sizing:I chose size 116 cm, which has a hip measurement of 65 cm. My son has a hip measurement of 63 cm.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?I didn't use them.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I like the skinny style. So many children's patterns are very roomy, so it was great to see this pattern.
Fabric Used:Stretch denim.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I left off the coin pocket and zips from the back pockets, due to being short on time. I made the waistband adjustable.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes & yes

Blooms said... Hello CynthiaSue,
I don't have a tutorial to make the waistband adjustable. I did put a little more detail in a previous post (http://sewblooms.blogspot.com.au/2011/11/denim-skirt.html). Basically, I split the inner waistband into 3 parts. A short part on the left and right fronts and a third longer part that makes up the remaining length. When I seam these 3 parts together I leave a gap in the seams, so that I can thread elastic through. Sometimes I use plain elastic and stitch it down to the waistband at the right length. For these, I used adjustable buttonhole elastic, so I sewed a button just past each of the seam openings and secured the button hole elastic to the button at the right length. 12/16/12 6:01 AM
