Pattern Description: Toddlers reversible vest
Pattern Sizing: Toddlers 1/2 and 1. I made size 1.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, the only tricky part was getting the lining side of the side seams to look nice after turning everything right side out.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It is very simple - only 2 main pattern pieces!
Fabric Used:Cotton Twill on one side and polyester faux cowhide on the other.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The only change I made was to use plastic snaps instead of buttons for the closure.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would definitely sew it again and recommend it- its quick and cute! Conclusion: I made this vest as a matching piece for my younger nephew after making a larger version (different pattern) as a cowboy vest for my older nephew - it turned out great! If I made it again I think I would alter the pattern to be a bit longer in the torso, as many babies that wear 12 month clothes have a fair sized belly and are being carried a lot - meaning it rides up, so a bit extra length would help there.
