| Pattern Description: Two-piece mermaid costume.
Pattern Sizing: Child 2 through Misses 16 (but NO size 6 child!!??)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Sort of, but I was going for an Ariel look, so the colors are quite different
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, though I don't know why knit material is require for the girl's top. It's not like they need the stretch!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Like the Simplicity 3626 genie costume, this does not come with pattern for size 6 child/girl. I can't understand why because that is PRIME size range for costumes.
Fabric Used: Stretch knit for upper bodice and tail, satin for lower bodice and fin, and a stretchy, wispy silver material for tail and upper bodice overlay.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I hand stitched all the trim because I didn't think my machine could handle it.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would love to make it again and try to stitch the top right to the tail, like another reviewer did, just because it would make for an easier costume. I'd also not bother with the knit material for the bodice top ... just use all satin. My granddaughters won't be playing dress-up when they are old enough to need stretch material up top 
Conclusion: If I were to dress up for Halloween, I'd make myself one of these costumes. I love that the top is modest, and that the tail has an opening to allow walking.
