Pattern Description:
Peter Pan Collar necklace Pattern Sizing:
one size Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
yes Were the instructions easy to follow?
I just used a flexible ruler to trace a curve onto paper and held it against my neck to check for fit. After I felt like the curve would work, I cut the fabric out on a fold. I also used double sided fusible interfacing so that I did not have to hand sew opening when turning work inside out. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Very easy. Made in an hour. Fabric Used:
Satin and Ribbon from stash Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
no Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
yes Conclusion:
This was a perfect gift from my niece, who saw one in the store and said "my auntie can make this!" She added it to her Christmas wish list and this was one of the last things I handmade for Christmas. She loves it.
sewfrequent said... These are very popular right now and i love the look! Have made 5 for dd and she likes to add stones/glitz to jazz em up. I intend to make one out of an old chenille bedspread for ME. 12/31/12 10:41 AM
