| Pattern Description:
raglan sleeve knit top with long sleeves, cuffs, neck binding, and a hi-low hem
Pattern Sizing:
34" bust. this is a free pattern in one size only. the finished garment measurements are in the directions, so you could easily widen or narrow, shorten or lengthen to your heart's content. since it's a raglan sleeve it would be a very easy thing to do!
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
the pattern has 1/4" SA which i LOVE. makes it easy to serge and saves fabric. i like everything about this top, no complaints here!
Fabric Used:
100% rayon jersey knit. would have loved to find a sweater knit, but good ones are few and far between... i'll keep an eye out though.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
i lengthened the top by 1" and extended the hem by 1/2" to allow for a 3/4" hem depth. then i made the cuffs 4" wide (instead of the drafted 2") because i have long arms and i prefer a wider cuff.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
most likely i will sew this up again. it requires very little fabric and is so fast to make.
Conclusion:
i love this top. i was needing a cozy lounge type top and this fit the bill. for a free pattern, you just can't beat it! modifications would be very easy to make to switch it up a little, but i'm very happy with it as is.

Too cute. You really made a RTW kinda top. The trendy ones I see in my favorite catalogs...like Alloy. ANYWAY...I visited your blog and the designers...very fun. I might just follow your advise on this great DIY FREE top. I like what you did with yours to make it your own.
