This is my third pattern hack of Simp 2246 into some sort of shirt. I may have changed it enough to call it my own by now. However it's a great pattern base and I think it deserves some "pimping."
Fabric Used:
Reversible cotton shirting from emmaonesock.com. Crisp light weight fusable from fashionsewingsupply.com. Worked great with my fabric!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I've made this pattern in to a shirt block so it incorporates most of the changes made in this version. Additional changes were to redraw the yokes into a different shape, lengthen the sleeve and draft a smaller cuff.
A few more details on my blog
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I'm currently in love with this version and have cut out another in Liberty of London cotton.
