From the pattern envelope: "Misses' Tunic: Loose-fitting pullover tunic has collar or hood, shaped hemline, narrow hem and snap closing. Topstitching. Wrong side shows on hemline and hood. B: pocket, B, C: button and self loop."
I made version B.
Multi-sized pattern XS-XXL.
I made a size M
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I made some changes, for basically, yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, but I did stray from the instructions a bit when it came to the sleeve placement. Instead of sewing the sleeve and sewing the side of the bodice before inserting the sleeve into the armhole I sewed the sleeve first and then sewed up the sides. It worked fine and I didn't find any need to ease the armhole of the sleeve.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the fit most of all, it is very comfortable. I also like the large collar. The only thing I wish I changed was the size of the front pocket. I wish I made it a wee bit wider.
I used a sweater knit fabric that has a fleece backing.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I changed the hemline only because the sweater seemed long when I tried it on. I lost the shape of the hemline when I shortened it but I'm pleased with how it looks.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I don't know if I will sew it again. I think that one is enough. I would however recommend this pattern to others. Extremely easy to piece together.
