Pattern Description: Top and elastic waistband dress

Pattern Sizing: 10-22

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Very basic

Fabric Used: I used a cotton blend for the skirt a cotton and an unknown knit fabric for the dress.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I lengthened the top and widened out at the waist and hip.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Probably won't sew the skirt again. I'm not too fond of how it lays. It's just ok. I will sew the top again.

Conclusion: My top is HUGE around the shoulders even though I followed the measurements on the package. I'm going to attempt to make it smaller and shorter in length. My fabric selection is not an ideal choice. Too stretchy. Too droopy. I'm hoping once I modify the garment it will look better because I love the color of the fabric. I'm wondering why cotton wouldn't work for the top though.

The skirt seemed more promising. Elastic went in way easier than I imagined. Unfortunately the gathers at the waistband swallowed up the cute design on my fabric. I still like the dress, it's just a detail I didn't give much thought but will keep in mind when using patterned prints for full skirts.
