Pattern Description:
From the pattern envelope: "Semi-fitted skirts have lined yokes, back zipper and narrow hem. A: Button trim and mock welts.
I made version B.
Pattern Sizing:
This is a multi-sized pattern available in A5 (6, 8, 10, 12, 14) or E5 (14, 16, 18, 20, 22).
I made the skirt in a size 14.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Vogue pattern instructions are always well-written in my experience. However this skirt is quite simple to piece together.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the fit. It is a very comfortable skirt. I can't find anything to criticize really. The next version I might sew the yoke before I stitch up the sides only so that I can install an invisible zipper.
Fabric Used:
100% wool.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I shortened the longest length. The length falls in between B and C versions.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, and I would absolutely recommend this pattern to others.
