Pattern Description: Misses knit mini dress, tunic and top with front variations.
Pattern Sizing:12-20, I cut a 14/16 combo.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes, it took me a muslin to figure out how the front detail was supposed to be finished. It's not hard it just took me a few reads.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I loved the look of the front design.
Fabric Used:Rayon/Poly
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I just cut it smaller in the shoulders as usual. I did not do an FBA, just cut the front and back a larger size. I also took out some sleeve cap ease and narrowed the sleeves.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes, most definitely!
Conclusion: This was one of those I'm either going to love it or hate it designs for my extra large bust. Personally I think it's actually quite minimized. Based on the picture I took, my hips look bigger than my bust does and normally I look like I'm going to topple over! I think the detail above the bust brings your eye up instead of on the bust. There isn't a ton of fabric to add bulk. I think this top is perfect!
I agree--this is flattering and bust-minimizing. Love your fabric!

What a lovely top! The style does suit you very well, and I like your choice of the stained glass print.
