One word: smokin'! That is a great dress, especially with the pegged skirt alteration. Your rendition makes me take another look at this pattern.

@Deepika Thank you! I cut the smallest size and still took out about 1" of ease in the bodice. The size 6 fit fine for the skirt portion ;-)
