Pattern Description: Misses' Dress. Pullover dress has self bias neck binding, loose fitting bodice, front and back cut in one (no shoulder seams), raised waist with drawstring and narrow hem.
Pattern Sizing: XY (Sml-Med-Lrg) I cut the Small.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, except for the changes I made.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions are very easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the simple design and how easy it is to make.
Fabric Used: I used a crepe knit that was very heavy and had a lovely drape. I purchased it from Spotlight.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made the same alterations as I did in my previous version which I reviewed here For this version I also shortened it. In hindsight I wish I had made it an inch or two longer for a more flattering look, but I had a very limited amount of fabric to work with.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? As I have already said, this is my second version. I may make it again down the track, but I have a few other patterns I want to try first. I would definitely recommend this pattern to others.
Conclusion: Great pattern. Here is a close up of the bodice and sash and the back

2 Airedales n Me said... This dress looks very comfortable, as you say. I have the pattern and wondered about that neckline. Oooooooo, it's a LOW one! I don't mind the cami look but wonder if there's a way to adjust the pattern so a cami is not needed.....hmmmm. It would need to overlap (which wouldn't be too bad I suppose)... Thanks for your two reviews. 1/19/13 12:31 PM
