Pattern Description:
Misses Dresses Pattern Sizing:
size 14 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
It looked exactly like the picture. Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. This is the easiest pattern I've ever used. You can't go wrong with 6 seams What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The only complaint I had was the back doesn't lay like I want. It kind of hangs open on the top a little instead of laying flat, that could be my mistake or my lining choice, which really didn't stretch like the challis. Fabric Used:
A rayon challis (loved it) and a polyester lining in cream. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would definitely sew this again, I think that drapey materials (is that a word?) suit this pattern the best. Conclusion:
A very feminine and traditional dress. Came together very easily and was almost a perfect shot...except for where I messed it up

regal80 said... sorry prostheticsgirl, out of bitterness I didn't take a picture of the back before I shipped it off to my friend. The best way to describe what was going on is that right over the shoulder blades, the lining rolled out about 1/4" ...thinking about it now I didn't understatch the seam...maybe that was it? 1/20/13 6:36 PM
