| Pattern Description: Stylish V-neck top, raised neckline at back, with or without sleeves
View A has a zipper at front neckline for more coverage.
I am going to use this pattern for the contest of one pattern, many styles I plan to use view B with long sleeves
I used view B , in the spirit of the contest with long sleeves only
Pattern Sizing: from child to plus sized adult
I am plussized, very irregular
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes, although I ended up not looking anymore
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like having more seams in a sweater pattern so that I can better adapt it to my shape
Fabric Used: Many looks gives many materials
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I had a muslin made that I have reviewed and after that I adapted the bustline and the armscye
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I did now six of them, so I'll wait making it again, but I can fully recommend it
Conclusion: Nice to do an OPML contest, but one issue left: Now to find and sew fitting skirts.....
There were many constraining rules in this contest, but I learned not to be let down by that and adding extra materials when I din't have enough amount of remnant pieces.
1 Morpho
Synthetic, very soft bold knit, printed, not much recovery.
I was afraid that the neckline could loose it's shape, so I added an elastic in the inside of the neckline. I sewed the upper frontpart by hand to be sure og a smooth result
2 Ice
Again a bold knit., better recovery. Now a solid colour.
Ornamented with beads.
3 Ruffles
This is made of a double layer of mesh. I added ruffles (made myself, augmented with elastic ruffletrim) on sleeves and neckline.
Now it looks more like a blouse
4 Lacewaves
Coton jersey , ornamented on sleeves shoulders and back with a wide non-stretchy lacetrim
5 Sheerwaves
A soft lycra body and sheer soft mesh sleeves
6 Chevrons
Here the laying on the fabric is clearly the difference.
This top has edgings of lace elastic, in the centrefront with a bow. The edging was fixed with a decorative stitch of the sewingmachine

Love your version of Jalie 2682 with the stripes on the top. It's very flattering on you. You have been having fun with this pattern.

I like all of your tops! I'm especially amazed at how well you managed to chevron the stripes together on the last top. I have this pattern and I think I need to use it. Great ideas!

Thank you very much, you both. I had in fact great fun. Yes it was nice to play with the Chevrond. It matches on the shoulders, the front and the back, but I could not do it in the sleeve seam. One seamline is more tilted than the other...
